The Accounting Study Program, Faculty of Economics & Business, University of Muhammadiyah Malang (FEB UMM) conducted a study visit to the Brawijaya University (UB) Cooperation Center on Tuesday, 28 June 2022. This visit was represented by the Coordinator for Cooperation and Internationalization; Mudrifah, SE., MM. accompanied by a team. Meanwhile, from Brawijaya University, represented by the Head of the Brawijaya University Collaboration Center, Prof. Eko Ganis Sukoharsono, SE M.Com.Hons., Ph.D. opened the event and gave his remarks regarding the visit.
The event, which was held in the Rectorate Collaboration Center Room on the 2nd floor, was continued with remarks by Dr. Driana Leniwati, MSA., Ak. regarding the management of cooperation and internationalization in the UMM Accounting study program. Similar to UB, UMM also has several collaboration programs and international programs. "Even though we are close in location, we don't yet know how UB manages cooperation both at home and abroad," he said. The next session was a presentation from Prof. Eko Ganis Sukoharsono, SE M.Com.Hons., Ph.D regarding international programs at Brawijaya University Malang.
Mudrifah, SE., MM. said that the purpose of this visit was to learn from UB about the internationalization program. “We want to study at UB, especially regarding internationalization. However, the FEB UMM Accounting study program already has international class embryos, so we want continuous improvement and improvements so that in the future it will be even better. "Well, we can get improvements from various sources, one of which is by learning and absorbing knowledge from those who have previously succeeded in developing internationalization, such as UB," he concluded. From this visit, it is hoped that the FEB UMM Accounting study program can learn from the experience and management of UB to become a study program with international quality.
