In order to support the MBKM curriculum and benchmarking in the Business World of Industry (DUDI), the FEB UMM Accounting study program carried out industrial visits to PT. Petrokimia Gresik, Tbk., Monday (13/2/2023). This activity was attended by 8 lecturers and 38 students of the FEB UMM Accounting study program, who will take part in the SSAC Center of Excellence (CoE) program and will later carry out internships at the state-owned company.
This industrial visit activity includes environmental observation stages and comprehensive work activities both in the office and factory, company profile presentations, as well as questions and answers or interviews with resource persons directly. Head of the FEB UMM Accounting Study Program, Dr. Driana Leniwati., MSA., Ak., CA. It is hoped that this activity will produce a good synergistic relationship and have a long-term impact, namely the achievement of graduates of the FEB UMM Accounting study program who are professional, have productive abilities and are ready to compete in the industrial world.
Dosen prodi Akuntansi yang juga koordinator bidang Kerjasama dan Internasionalisasi, Mudrifah, SE,.MM., menyampaikan bahwa kunjungan ini adalah realisasi nota kesepahaman Kerjasama antara prodi Akuntansi dengan DUDI. “Kunjungan ini sekaligus untuk mengenalkan pada para mahasiswa bagaimana environtment perusahaan. Sehingga ketika nanti mereka magang maupun bekerja di industri, mereka sudah paham flow-nya.” Lanjutnya. Ia juga menyampaikan ucapan terima kasih kepada dunia industri yang telah memberikan dukungan berkelanjutan dalam kegiatan kerja sama baik dalam bentuk supervisi kurikulum, kunjungan industri, praktik industri reguler, dan magang industri yang dikemas dalam Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM).
