The Accounting Study Program in collaboration with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the London School of Accountancy and Finance (LSAF) has implemented an International Guest Lecture (IGL) agenda with the theme "The Role of Accounting Information Systems and Technology to Realize Golden Indonesia 2045" , Friday (17/3). Located in the General Administration Bureau (BAU) Hall, campus III, University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM), the agenda was attended by students of the FEB UMM Accounting Study Program in semester II and semester IV as well as lecturers in the FEB UMM Accounting Study Program. There are 2 external presenters on the IGL agenda this time as representatives from ACCA and LSAF. First, Julia Simatupang as ACCA Country Manager Chief Representative of ACCA Indonesia. Second, and as the main external speaker, Manish Gidwani, FCCA, MSc, CA, CPA (Aust) as Chairman of ACCA Indonesia Member Panel & CEO and LSAF Founders. The internal speaker is Drs Adi Prasetyo, M.Si, Ak, CA, as a lecturer at the FEB UMM Accounting Study Program. This agenda is one step in creating superior students in order to create Indonesia's golden generation in 2045. "By focusing on strengthening the curriculum in the current global era, collaboration with ACCA and LSAF, it is hoped that it will be able to increase the abilities and competitiveness of Study Program students. UMM Accounting in the field of finance and their professional accounting," said Manish. According to him, the challenges in the future are very objective, meaning the focus is on your professionalism as an accountant or auditor. "Your future career zone, please decide, whether as a transformation driver, assurance provider, stakeholder reporter, or enterprise analyst?", explained Manish in his speech.
