The Department of Accounting, Faculty of Economics and Business, Brawijaya University, which oversees the Undergraduate Accounting Study Program, Master of Accounting, Accounting Laboratory, Accounting Development Center, and Quality Assurance Unit as one of the "Excellent" credentials, has a strategy in implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. The strategy of the FEB UB Accounting Department is a unique system that contains good practices from other universities. This prompted the FEB UMM Accounting Study Program to carry out a benchmarking visit to the UB Accounting Department on Tuesday, January 11 2023.
This visit is specifically related to the implementation of Lamemba Accreditation which will be carried out by the FEB UMM Accounting study program. Apart from that, comparative studies regarding the internal quality assurance system (SPMI), study program governance, collaboration and internationalization of laboratory governance, governance of the Accounting Development Center (PPA), as well as infrastructure and management.
The activity took place in the Main Building Meeting Room, Fl. 8 and attended by Dr. Sari Atmini, M.Sc., Ak. as Secretary of the Department, Head of the Undergraduate Study Program (KPS), namely Dr. Arum Prastiwi, M.Si., Ak.. then Head of the Masters Program Noval Adib, Ph.D., MSA., Ak., Head of the Accounting Laboratory Dr. Syaiful Iqbal, Ak., CA., CPMA., head of PPA Dr. Bambang Hariadi, S.E., M.Ec., Ak., CPA., and the head of the quality assurance unit (UJM) of the Accounting Department, FEB UB, namely Mirna Amirya, MSA., Ak., AAP. Meanwhile, the FEB UMM Accounting Study Program was attended by Dr. Driana Leniwati, SE., MSA., Ak., CSRS., as Head of Accounting Study Program FEB UMM, Aviani Widyastuti, SE., MSA., Ak., CA. , Tri Wahyu Oktavendi, SE., MSA., as secretary of study programs 1 and 2. Head and Laboratory Secretary M. Wildan Affan, MSA. And Novita Agus Saputri, SPd., MPd., Head of Cooperation and Internationalization, Mudrifah, SE., MM. as well as the head of PPA Fahmi Dwi Mawardi, SE., MSA., CSRS.

The initial presentation and welcoming remarks were opened by Dr. Arum Prastiwi, M.Si., Ak. Discusses the management of the FEB UB Accounting study program so that it can obtain superior accreditation. The afternoon visit was then continued with a comparative study regarding Laboratory and PPA management. During the visit, the UJM team from the Accounting Department, FEB UB also provided an explanation regarding quality assurance. Don't forget that both parties also discussed the various facilities they have and the procedures for managing them. It is hoped that this benchmarking visit to the FEB UB Accounting Department will provide insight that can be applied to the UMM Accounting Study Program. (if)
